VERNON, CT — A jury has convicted a Manchester resident in a Vernon sexual assault trial.

Tolland Judicial District State’s Attorney Matthew C. Gedansky Monday said that a jury in Rockville Superior Court has returned guilty verdicts against Bryan Jaworski, 48, of Manchester, for two counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim younger and 16.

According to evidence introduced at the trial, Jaworski had engaged in sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old in March of 2023. Evidence of the defendant's DNA from fluids on the victim's bed as well as text messages from the defendant discussing the sexual assault corroborated the victim's account, Gedanski said.
