VERNON, CT — Two men are accused of trying to get away with the "money bag," of a strip joint "employee" in Vernon, arrest reports show.

The incident took place at Lucky's Cabaret, located at 65 Windsor Ave., police said. According to arrest reports, at 1:34 a.m. last Friday, the two men — ages 41 and 48 — grabbed the bag after it was put down by the employee.

In the bag were the employee's wallet and about $300 in cash, according to arrest reports. Several credit cards were in the wallet, according top case notes.

The pair was caught in the act and police were called, according to arrest reports.

Both were charged with sixth-degree larceny.
