Vernon Announces Hazardous Waste Collection Dates

It is requested that residents bring as many hazardous materials as possible to the collection site, possibly car-pooling with neighbors.

Vernon residents may dispose of hazardous waste at the Olcott Street facility in Manchester. The collection dates for 2016 are April 2, May 7, June 4, August 27, September 24, and October 29. In addition, there will be a hazardous waste collection at the Stafford Town Garage on October 15. All collections are held on Saturdays from 8 AM to 1 PM.

The drop-off is free to Town residents but the Town is billed $43 per participating vehicle, therefore, it is requested that residents bring as many hazardous materials as possible to the collection site, possibly car-pooling with neighbors.
