Vernon Man Accused Of Racking Up Personal Expenses On Employer's Card
A larceny charge was levied on a former employee who used a company card for personal errands, a warrant says.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon man is facing a fourth-degree larceny charge on accusations that he used a company-issued credit card for a personal expense binge, state police said.
Jacob Kranmas, 29, was served a warrant in the case last week, state police said.
A complaint was filed by Ellington-based Skip's Wastewater on Dec. 1, according to a warrant. Kranmas was a shop and field mechanic for the septic services company and was issued a company card to obtain parts, according to a warrant.

Ownership said his work was quality but began to "go down the drain" as of late, according to a warrant. He would also make frequent trips while claiming to buy parts, according top a warrant.
Instead, credit card records showed repeated purchases to places like convenience stores, 7-Eleven, Cumberland Farms, Dunkin; Donuts, Big Y, an Ellington liquor store.

In all, he was cited for $1,389.87 in personal expenses on the card, and was terminated from his position, according to a warrant.
