Vernon Police Arrest Manchester Resident On Sexual Assault Charge
A Manchester resident has been charged in a Vernon sexual assault investigation.
VERNON, CT — A Manchester man has been arrested for first-degree sexual assault in Vernon.
On Friday, both Vernon and Manchester police picked up 46-year-old Dana Murphy on a warrant.
The warrant shows that the victim in the case is a woman in her 30s.

Murphy spent the weekend in the Vernon Police Department lockup on a quarter-million-dollar bond and was to be arraigned in Rockville Superior Court on Monday, records show.
