Vernon Public Works Announces Holiday Schedule

From the Vernon Public Works Department:

The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Friday, March 25, 2016 in observance of Good Friday. Refuse and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected on Monday, March 28, 2016 along with that day's collection.

Excess refuse and recycling may be brought to the Transfer Station year round at no charge to Vernon residents. The hours of operation are Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 am to 4 pm and Sundays noon to 4 pm.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
