Vernon Resident to be Head of Manchester Chamber Of Commerce

April DiFalco, of Vernon, was recently named the next president of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

DiFalco, who currently serves as the chamber's director of membership services, will take over as president when Sue O'Connor retires later this summer, according to a report by the Hartford Courant.

"Sue and April have been a great team the past nine years, and while we're very sorry to be losing Sue – she will be greatly missed – we feel we are fortunate to have someone with April's experience and talents who can step in without missing a beat," chamber board Chairman Tom Machuga told the Courant.

DiFalco is working on her 10th year at the chamber, according to the organization's Web site. She lives in Vernon with her husband and daughter.
