WALLINGFORD, CT — The Community Lake parking lot will be temporarily closed this week for a paving project, according to police. Starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 24 the parking lot at Community Lake at 291 Hall Avenue will be closed for paving. "Pursuant to Chapter 216 of the Wallingford Town Code, any vehicles found to be in violation of the parking prohibition at Community Lake will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck," police wrote in a news release. The project is being overseen by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Department of Public Works.
