Dog Park Reopens After Downed Trees In Wallingford

The Town of Wallingford Government advised residents in a post on social media that some trees have come down at the dog park following the recent strong winds and storms.
The park, located at 345 Quinnipiac St., will be closed to the public Tuesday, Jan. 6, and possibly Wednesday, Jan. 7, while the Public Works Department removes the trees, according to officials.

“Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department will send out updates tomorrow for park availability on the 7th,” officials wrote. “We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
