Consignment Originals Donates $1,000 to Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis

The Outlet by Consignment Originals raised the funds over the past five months through in-store purchases.

WALLINGFORD, CT – On Wednesday, September 28th, Consignment Originals presented a check to Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis (Chrysalis) for $1,000. The donation, a result of funds raised over the last five months through in-store purchases at the Outlet by Consignment Originals (the Outlet) location (1267 South Broad Street, Wallingford), is part of the company’s continuing commitment to local causes.

“We are pleased to be able to support our local community through this donation and continued partnership.” said Consignment Originals General Manager, Jackie Leathe, “We would also like to thank Sharlene personally for the valuable work she does at Chrysalis.”

The Outlet features the best deals on pre-owned clothing, accessories, home goods and more for the entire family. On a rotating basis, a portion of sales from the Outlet are contributed to local area non-profits.
“Chrysalis is incredibly grateful to the Outlet for choosing us to be their most recent charitable beneficiary,” said Chrysalis Executive Director, Sharlene B. Kerelejza, “Non-profits, and those they serve, are facing tough times in an uncertain funding climate. Community allies such as the Outlet help us to continue our work to help families find safety.”
