Driver Killed In Crash On I-91 In Wallingford: Police
The crash shut down part of I-91 in Wallingford on Monday afternoon.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A driver was killed in a crash on I-91 North in Wallingford on Monday afternoon, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said a rented Chevrolet truck that was being driven by William R. Risley rear-ended a trailer that was being towed by another truck near the Exit 15 off-ramp on I-91 North in Wallingford. The crash happened around 1:50 p.m., according to police.
Risley, 56, of Watertown, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash, and was taken to MidState Hospital where police said he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 53-year-old New York man, was taken to New Britain Hospital with possible injuries, according to police.
