Popular Restaurant Opening New Location In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — A popular Italian restaurant in Hamden is opening a second location in Wallingford, the owners announced.

The Luce Restaurant Group announced in a post on Facebook on New Year’s Day that it will be opening Luce Osteria Parker Farms in Wallingford.

“The Luce Restaurant Group (LRG) is proud to announce a second location coming to Wallingford, CT bringing over 35 years of continued excellence and dedication to our craft!” the Facebook post reads. “We'd like to thank all of you for your continued support and wish you a Happy New Year! see you soon!”

The new restaurant will be located at 295 Parker Farms Rd., the former Laskara restaurant site in the Yalesville section of Wallingford.

Laskara closed its doors for good in May after 26 years in business.

The Luce Restaurant Group’s original restaurant, Ristorante Luce, is located at 2987 Whitney Avenue in Hamden.

“At Ristorante Luce, we bring the heart of Tuscany to the heart of Hamden,” reads a post on the restaurant’s website. “Family-owned and operated, our restaurant has been a cherished local destination for authentic Italian cuisine, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere.”
