Obituary: Joseph Robert Boroski, 61, Of Wallingford
Joseph, a rugged outdoorsmen and meticulous gardener and landscaper, worked many years at Costco as a dedicated meat manager.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Joseph Robert Boroski, 61, of Wallingford, entered into Heaven peacefully March 16, 2022 at Seacrest Retirement Center after a strong and courageous 7 year battle with cancer.
Joe was born in Derby on June 7, 1960, the son of the late Stanley and Henrietta (Golebieski) Boroski.
A savant as a meat cutter, he worked for decades as a Costco Meat Manager. Joe was a rugged outdoorsmen that enjoyed camping, bonfires, trout and bass fishing but was also a meticulous gardener and landscaper, capable of naming various flowers and plants.
As a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, one of his happiest moments was watching the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl LII surrounded by his family.
Joe will take care of the family pets in Heaven, Karma, TJ, Patches, Destiny, Tigger, Shadow, Evy, Bonzo and Sunshine.
Joe is survived by his loving son, Ryan Boroski and his wife, Michelle DaConto, of Wallingford; his beautiful daughters, Amber Boroski and Cori Boroski, both of Wallingford; Joe is also survived by his loving former wife Carol (Mattei) Boroski. As one of nine children, he is survived by his siblings Bernadette, Richard, Alex, Henry, Mary, John, Henrietta and Anne Boroski and over 30 nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the staff at Seacrest in West Haven for the care and compassion they gave to Joe and his family during his stay there. The family would like to recognize Louis Wadson for being a friend to Joe by making him laugh and smile.
