Pipe Distributor Decides to Remain in Wallingford

Pearce Real Estate announces the sale of 10 industrial acres in Wallingford for the company to stay in town and expand its business.

North Haven, CT — A Wallingford plastic pipe distributor has decided to stay in town with the purchase of 10 industrial acres and will expand its business.

Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, announced in a press release that Phil Barber, Senior Broker in the Company North Haven Commercial Office, successfully represented the buyer in a deal worth $700,000 for 10 industrial acres on Fairfield Boulevard in Wallingford.

The buyer, Davenport Associates, is a plastic pipe distributor that outgrew its current Wallingford facility, according to Pearce.

They opted to stay in the area and will construct a large warehouse on the property to meet their present and future needs.

They also will use the remaining land for outdoor storage of their product, Pearce said in the release.

Dave Barnes of CBRE-NE represented the seller, Tower Development LLC.

“Phil Barber’s outstanding work is a winner for all involved,” Pearce said in a statement. “Davenport Associates will be able to expand their operation, stay in Wallingford, and brings construction jobs to the area. They also appreciate Phil’s diligence, experience and search for the right property at the right price.”
