Speeding, ‘Aggressive Driving’ Targeted In Wallingford: Police

Police will be conducting speed enforcement and cracking down on aggressive driving in Wallingford, according to officials.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Police will be cracking down on speeding drivers and aggressive driving in Wallingford over the next two months, according to officials.

“Officers will be conducting targeted patrols aimed at promoting safer roadways throughout our community,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “This initiative is made possible through funding provided by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Grant. The grant enables the department to allocate staffing and resources specifically for traffic enforcement operations.

“Our goal is to reduce traffic-related deaths, injuries, and property damage by encouraging responsible driving and ensuring compliance with the law.
