Today in Wallingford: Showers and Thunderstorms, Dog Park Update

Good morning! Today is Tuesday, July 23, 2013.

1. The National Weather Service is calling for showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84.

2. The Wallingford Dog Lovers Association will meet tonight at the Parks & Rec Dept. from 5:30 to 7 p.m. regarding the Wallingford Dog Park. Check out the organization's Facebook page or get involved!

4. The water quality of the Quinnipiac River will be discussed tonight during one of two public hearings. Hosted by the Q River Watershed Association, the meeting at QRWA headquarters in Meriden is aimed at improving water quality.
