Visions for Vacancies: What Would You Like To See in the old Cafe Ra Location?

The original location of Cafe Ra at 1163 South Broad Street closed more than two years ago. Since then, the barn-like structure has been empty. 

The location was known for its lunch offerings where about a dozen hot entrees, salads and deserts were served cafeteria style.

After leaving the original location, owner Christian Rao opened a smaller eatery in 2010 at 350 Center Street under the same name.

What kind of business do you think should open in the former Cafe Ra location on South Broad Street? The property has lots of parking and is just across the Meriden border.
