
Police arrested three local men on Thursday following a four-month drug investigation in Wallingford.
Detectives served arrests warrants for Michael Perez, 26 of 42 Ridgeland Road and Jacob Pappas, 26 of 94 Wilcox Avenue, Meriden.
On Thursday evening police stopped a vehicle under surveillance along South Cherry Street and took immediately took Pappas into custody. The driver of the vehicle, Erik Zagorski 25, of 177 Thorpe Avenue, Meriden was also arrested.

Meanwhile, detectives were executing a search warrant at 42 Ridgeland Road. Police say Perez was arrested after the search of the residence turned up several hundred pills including Oxycodone, Xanax, approximately an ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and approximately one thousand in cash. The street value of the pills seized was approximately $6,000.00, according to police.
The suspects face multiple drug charges and will be arraigned at Meriden Superior Court this morning.
