Wallingford Resident Scores Game-Winner For Albertus Magnus

The Lyman Hall graduate helped keep the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team unbeaten in the GNAC with the game-winning goal.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford’s Morgan Stone broke a scoreless deadlock with a goal to lift the Albertus Magnus College men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer at Celentano Field in New Haven on Saturday.

With the game scoreless through 80 minutes of play, Stone, a sophomore, scored his first goal of the season to keep Albertus Magnus unbeaten in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference at 4-0. The Falcons are 4-2-1 overall.

Stone was an All-Southern Connecticut Conference First-Team selection at Lyman Hall.
