WALLINGFORD--The Wallingford school district's food service negotiations are stirring up a hot debate.

The Wallingford Board of Education authorized the superintendent of schools to enter into negotiations with a food service company, The New Haven Register reported.

The school district will open negotiations with a food service contractor about the possibility of taking over the school cafeteria food programs across the district, according to the Register.
