An Angel From Waterford—Former High School Pitcher Makes It To The Majors

Former Waterford High School pitcher Colin O'Keefe has made it to the big show! O'Keefe was signed by The Angels in the First-Year Player Draft, which ended on June 8. The Los Angeles team was clearly on the hunt for pitchers this year. Of the Angels' 39 selections, 21 of them are pitchers.

If there's one thing Waterford knows how to do, though, it's how to turn out great pitchers! Now O'Keefe's on the team, it will give Waterford residents at least one team everyone can root for, even though it's on the West Coast!
