β€’ Woman Fraudulently Purchased $7K Worth Of Jewelry From Waterford Store, Police Say (patch.com) β€” Waterford police say a woman used a fraudulent credit card to buy more than $7,000 in jewelry from a local business, highlighting a significant financial crime in town. After an investigation, officers arrested 36-year-old Candace Johnson-Jefferson of Philadelphia on Dec. 18 with help from Bethel police, and she now faces larceny and illegal payment card use charges while held on a $25,000 bond.
