Masked Burglars Steal Purse From East Hampton Home: Police

The East Hampton Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Monday, Dec. 7, at approximately 11 p.m.

According to police, two masked suspects entered a Middle Haddam Road home and went upstairs.

“The homeowner confronted the suspects, which caused them to flee on foot,” police said. “The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing with masks. One suspect was described as having a slight build. The suspects left the residence with the home owner’s purse containing a small amount of cash.”
