Motorcyclist Killed In Crash, ID Released: Waterford Police
The motorcycle struck a guardrail, police said.

WATERFORD, CT β A motorcyclist was killed in a crash late Saturday, police said.
At 11:20 p.m., police responded to a crash on Route 32 southbound in the area of Smith Cove, police said.
Police said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle FLHXS, which was traveling south on Route 32, had hit the guardrail just prior to Richards Grove Road ejecting the driver into a wooded area adjacent to the road.

Based on witness statements and evidence at the scene, it was determined that the crash did not involve any other vehicles, police said.
Thomas Peabody, 55, of Westerly, RI was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash is under investigation. If you have any information, call police at 860-442-9451.
