New Flood Zones and Duke Ellington Gets Out of The Rain

1. Showers and a possible thunderstorm this morning will be followed by a cloudy afternoon. There's a 60 percent chance of rain today and a 20 percent chance of rain this evening. Weather.com is predicting a high temperature of 77 degrees and an overnight low of 72 degrees. 

2. Just a reminder that this evening's concert featuring the Duke Ellington Band originally scheduled for Harkness Park in Waterford has been relocated to the Garde Arts Center 325 State Street in New London. 

3. Find out how recent changes to the coastal flood map affect you. The Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) and the CT Dept. of Energy & Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) will be hosting a public outreach meeting to discuss flood insurance and coastal map changes at CT DEEP Marine Headquarters, 333 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

4. Municipal meetings: Conservation Commission meets at 7 p.m. at Waterford Town Hall. Harbor Management Commission meets at 7 p.m. at Waterford Police Department.
