Police Blotter: A Closet Marijuana Enterprise in Waterford

Police reports are provided by Waterford Police Department. An arrest does not signify a conviction.

On July 24, Waterford Police arrested Jason Bruno, 35, of 310 Boston Post Road, Waterford, and charged him with disorderly conduct and threatening. Bruno, however, could soon be facing additional drug-related charges.

While police were at his residence at Jordan Commons condo complex investigating the reported domestic disturbance, they discovered a closet containing a high-tech marijuana growing system.

Waterford police told Channel 3 they found growing equipment and marijuana plants of varying sizes that amounted to just over a pound of pot, worth nearly $1,000 on the street.
