Police Blotter: Waterford Police Were Busy Over The Holiday Weekend

Arrest reports are provided by Waterford Police Department for July 5-8, 2013. An arrest does not signify a conviction.

July 5

Marc Connelly, 46, of 1 Green Hills Road, Waterford, was charged with disorderly conduct (fight or violent behavior) and with interfering with a police officer.

Victoria Jones, 20, of 6 Juniper Lane, Madison, was charged with criminal mischief. 

July 6

Nathan Page, 61, of 69 Miner Lane, Waterford, was charged with disorderly conduct/threatening.

Alan Mitchell, 48, of 89 Miner Lane, Waterford, was charged with assault in the third degree (an assault involving someone elderly or disabled).

Jonathan Hennessey, 29, of 82 Longview Street, Waterford, was charged with disorderly conduct (fight capable of causing minor injury). 

Glen Hall, 37, of 112 Jefferson Avenue, New London, was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogenic or 4 ounces of marijuana), and failure to have headlights. 

Michael Myers, 66, was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, with possession of a controlled substance (less than four ounces of marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

July 7

William VanHoesen, 24, of 30 Parkwood Road, Hanover, was charged with larceny in the 6th degree (shoplifting).

Leon Long, 30, of 55 Connecticut Avenue, New London was charged with disobeying a police officer (eluding or fleeing the scene); breach of peace, assault in the third degree (assault against a person who is elderly, disabled, or pregnant); strangulation in the second degree; interfering with a police officer; criminal violation of a protective order (threatening or trespassing). 

July 8 

Daniel Collins, of 37 Avery Lane, Waterford, was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and with failure to stay in the proper lane. 

Cassandra Russell, 31, currently residing at the homeless shelter in New London, was charged with larceny in the 6th degree (shoplifting).
