School Starts, Congestion Continues Today

1. What's the Weather? This morning's rain should clear as the day goes on and we might even see some sun this afternoon. Weather.com is predicting a high of 78 degrees with an overnight low of 65 degrees under partly cloudy skies. 

2. It's the first day of school! Be extra careful on the roads now that children will be lined up waiting for the school bus in the mornings and crossing to get home this afternoon.

3. Traffic: Construction on Route 85 is still causing congestion and it's likely to be slightly worst today because of the rain. 

4. Municipal Meetings: Cancelled/Rescheduled 

• Telecommunications Communications meeting has been cancelled.
• The EMAC - Radio Project meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m. has been cancelled but EMAC will meet at the Police Department at 5 p.m. 

• Senior Citizens Commission meeting at 4 p.m. at the Senior Center.
• Recreation and Parks Commission meets at 5 p.m. at Waterford Community Center.
