Stay Home and Off the Roadways: Waterford Police

The Waterford Police Department is asking residents to stay home during this snowstorm.

“Waterford is now under a blizzard warning, so we will be expecting heavy snow with high winds, which could cause localized power outages, and there is also the potential for localized flooding,” police said.

The Town of Waterford’s parking ban is in effect as snowfall is predicted to exceed three inches. The ban will be in effect until all the roadways have been cleared by the Public Works Department, police said.

All vehicles must be removed from the roadway and any vehicles that have not been removed are subject to being towed at the owners expense.

“Thank you for your cooperation and helping the public works employees do their jobs faster and safer,” police said.
