They May Not Be Trained Waiters But Waterford Firefighters Know How To "Put A Rush On It"

While familiar with the concept of bringing people water, Waterford firefighters don't usually ask people if they'd prefer something fried or baked. But they're getting used to it.

About twice a year, Waterford firefighters volunteer as servers at local restaurants to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

On Thursday evening, they were waiting tables at Filomena's Restaurant in Waterford. On Labor Day, they'll be doing the same thing at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
