Waterford Approves 45 Condos at 22 Miner Lane

The Waterford Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a proposal by New Haven's Northside Development Company after they agreed to reduce the number of condos from 48 to 45 and the number of bedrooms from 101 to 78.

Waterford has signed off, and 22 Miner Lane is set to be turned into 45 condos.

The proposal will turn the 11-acre lot, which is now a residential home, into 33 two-bedroom condos and 12 one-bedroom condos within eight buildings. 22 Miner Lane LLC put forth the proposal, which is owned by Paul Denz, president of New Haven’s Northside Development Company.

Last Monday, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the proposal. Originally, Denz proposed putting 48 condos at the lot – 43 of which were two-bedroom condos, with five being three-bedroom condos - but withdrew the application after it appeared the commission would reject it. He came back with the 45-unit proposal, which the commission passed with several conditions.
