Waterford Parking Ban in Effect
Emergency Management is asking people to stay off the roads so public works crews can clear the roadways and make them safe for travel.

Waterford’s parking ban is in effect, from midnight Saturday, Jan. 23, until all the roadways are clear. The following message is from the Waterford Emergency Management Office, via the Waterford Police Department ’s Facebook page.
The latest information has shown a few changes from this morning’s forecast and that the storm is still unpredictable. They are showing southern Connecticut getting five to 10 inches with some localized flooding in the low lying areas and high wind gusts, which could cause power outages.
The storm is supposed to begin on Saturday morning and go through the day and into the night. We ask that you please stay home and stay off the roadways allowing public work crews to clear the roadways and make them safe for traveling.

The parking ban will be in effect as of midnight tonight and will be in effect until all the roadways are cleared. Thank you.
