Police are warning drivers that they could face hefty fines for failing to stop for school buses on Boston Post Road.

WATERFORD, CT β€” Police are advising drivers about stopping for buses on a section of Boston Post Road.

"We have an issue with buses stopping near Boston Post Road (Rte 1) and Willets Ave. Drivers heading east are just driving on by the flashing red lights," police wrote. "$450 fine to the State and dangerous for the kids! Look at our drawing here. It is not a divided highway, everyone must stop."
