WEST HARTFORD, CT — A popular fundraiser to benefit the town's most historic landmark museum is back and tickets are on sale today.
The Noah Webster Real Ale Harvest Fest returns to West Hartford on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The event serves as a fundraiser for the museum and is co-hosted by the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society and Harvest Wine & Spirits.
Participating brewers are tasked with creating one-of-a-kind casks of real ale available for this event only.

Each brew must include an ingredient found in Webster's 18th-century garden.
A panel of judges will determine Cask Champion and attendees will vote for the Taster’s Choice Winner.
Over 20 Connecticut breweries will compete in the 2025 Real Ale Fest including Alvarium Beer Company, Brewery Legitimus, Counter Weight Brewing Co., Dead Language Beer Project, East Rock Brewing, New England Brewing Co., New Park Brewing, Nod Hill Brewery, O.E.C. Brewing, Thomas Hooker Brewing, Twelve Percent Beer Project, Vue Brewing, WeHa Brewing & Roasting Co., Willimantic Brewing Co., Yankee Cider Co., and more.
This event takes place on the grounds of the historic Noah Webster House, 227 South Main St., West Hartford.
There will be two sessions (2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.). Each session includes ale samples served in a souvenir tasting glass.
Tickets are $40 (NWH Members) and $50 (General Admission) at www.noahwebster.yapsody.com.
Designated driver tickets cost $10. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
Guests must be 21 with proper ID and no pets are allowed. All proceeds will benefit the not-for-profit museum.
Live music for the first session (2 to 5 p.m.) will be provided by Acoustic Madness featuring Martin Piggot, Joe Santucci & Gray Fowler. The second session (6 to 9 p.m.) will feature live music by Soul Tsunami.
Food will be available for purchase from Salt & Pepper Catering.
There will be a drop-off spot designated right in front of the museum for Uber, Lyft, and designated drivers sponsored by Keating Agency Insurance.
The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society interprets the life & accomplishments of Noah Webster, author, lexicographer, and father of American education, preserving and operating his boyhood home (a National Historic Landmark built in 1747) in West Hartford, Connecticut.
