WEST HARTFORD, CT — Tickets for the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society's biggest fundraiser next week are sold out.

But folks can still support the museum by participating in an online auction in conjunction with that event — the annual "War of the Words" fundraiser.

The public has until May 8 at 2 p.m. to bid on various items donated for the cause.

Items include:

• One-Night Deluxe Stay for two at Delamar West Hartford

• Hartford Yard Goats - Four Box Seats Behind Home Plate Plus VIP Access to YG Club & Parking

• Floral Arrangement by West Hartford Garden Club Master Gardener

• 2 Orchestra Tickets for "Back To The Future" at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts

• Private tours of CT art & history museums

• Gift cards to local eateries

More items are expected to be added as well.

The annual "War of the Words" event is slated for Thursday, May 8, and it is a word-based trivia game and special dinner slated to take place at the Pond House Café in West Hartford, 1555 Asylum Ave.
