Volunteers Needed For Massive West Hartford Festival
The town's largest civic celebration is less than a month away and event organizers are looking for volunteers to make it happen.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town's biggest civic celebration is less than a month away and event organizers are looking for volunteers to make it happen.
The annual "Celebrate West Hartford" festival will take place on Saturday/Sunday, June 7-8, at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St. This year's sponsor is Peoples Bank.
This classic festival features food, vendors, music, carnival rides, and games for the whole family, with thousands coming throughout the area to see what West Hartford has to offer.

But to make the fun happen, volunteers are needed by event organizers.
The roles vary, and hours/days requested are diverse.

Among the roles being filled are pre-event jobs ( the month and week prior); pre-event setup (Friday); Saturday volunteer jobs; FUNd Run volunteer jobs (Saturday and Sunday); and Sunday volunteer jobs.
According to the event's organizing committee, it takes about 1,000 volunteer man-hours total to make this beloved event happen.
