West Hartford Hosting 2 Forums On Town's ADA Compliance
The Town of West Hartford is in the process of determining the level of compliance it has relative to federal laws mandating equal access.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents are invited to two forums next week on the town's compliance with federal laws mandating that those with disabilities have equal access to services.
The town is hosting two "community conversations" about the Town of West Hartford’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan process.

Valerie Fletcher, with the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD), will give a summary and host a listening session to gather feedback on the experiences and needs of people with disabilities in relation to town facilities and programs.

• Monday, May 19, 7 to 8 p.m., West Hartford Town Hall,, 50 S. Main St., Room 314
• Tuesday, May 20, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Elmwood Community Center auditorium, 1106 New Britain Ave. (enter via Burgoyne Street)
In addition, residents can sign up for a brief virtual or private in-person conversation with Fletcher on May 20, from 9 to 11 a.m. Click here to sign up.
