Beaches Closed To Swimming, Fishing In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — Several beaches in West Haven are temporarily closed to swimming and fishing due to heavy rain and elevated bacteria levels, officials announced Wednesday.

The West Haven Health Department announced the following beaches are temporarily closed:

— Oak Street A

— Oak Street B

— Morse Avenue

— South Street

— Lake Street

— Seaview Avenue

— Dawson Avenue

— Sea Bluff

The health department will notify the public once the closure is lifted, officials said.
