Items From West Haven’s Iconic Jimmies Of Savin Rock To Be Auctioned Off

All restaurant equipment & other memorabilia will be auctioned off from the iconic waterfront restaurant that recently closed in West Haven.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Anyone looking to own a piece of history from West Haven’s iconic Jimmies of Savin Rock restaurant, or anyone in the market for some restaurant equipment, will have the opportunity to do so at a live auction next week.

The waterfront eatery closed Dec. 7 after 100 years of the family business.

A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page on Friday announced that the Jimmies Live Auction will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17. An auction preview will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The auction is being run by Restaurant Equipment Paradise.

“All equipment included: furniture, smallwares, bar setup, lighting, antiques, and lobster tank,” according to a post on the Restaurant Equipment Paradise website. “Six fryers, like-new refrigerated pizza prep station and bain marie. Stainless shelving, plus a freezer with a 6-month-old compressor. Solid-wood booths, hundreds of chairs and stools, dozens of tables, and full banquet-style seating.”
