A West Haven resident won $10,000 on a $100,000 CA$HWORD ticket that was sold at Saw Mill Package Store at 317 York St. in West Haven, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
