Capsized Boat Found In West Haven: Reports

WEST HAVEN, CT — A capsized boat that was found in Long Island Sound near the break wall in West Haven on Friday morning was determined to have been empty, according to NBC Connecticut.

The West Haven Fire Department said in a post on Facebook that members of the Center and West Shore Districts were in the area of April Street and Monahan Place conducting a water rescue operation on Friday morning.

Crews were responded to a report of a floating vessel, according to WTNH News 8.

NBC Connecticut reports a dive team has cleared the scene after it was determined that nobody was missing.
