Crossing Guards Needed In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Police Department is seeking school crossing guards for the city.

"School crossing guards are such an integral part of day to day operations at our schools," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "The West Haven Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill our vacancies!"

Anyone interested in the position can fill out an application at the police department's website here. The form can be returned to the Traffic Division by mail or in person.

“We look forward to a great school year with the children of West Haven and we would love the communities help in filling these positions!!!” police wrote.
