Mystery, Music, and Mayhem Take Center Stage: Notre Dame Theater Presents the Musical Comedy Curtains: School Edition
(West Haven, CT) – (November 19, 2025) –
A delightful blend of Broadway glamour and whodunit intrigue is headed to the Maureen and George Collins ‘58 Auditorium as Notre Dame Theater proudly presents this year’s musical production, Curtains: School Edition. Performances will take place on December 5 and 6 at 7 PM, and December 7 at 3 PM.
This clever and hilarious murder-mystery musical—set behind the scenes of a 1950s Broadway show—will be brought to life by the extraordinary talents of more than fifty students from Notre Dame, Sacred Heart Academy, Lauralton Hall High School, West Haven High School, Hamden High School, and Platt Tech.

Under the direction of Mrs. Casey LaMonaca, the production promises big laughs, dazzling musical numbers, and a mystery that keeps the audience guessing until the final curtain. With lively choreography, soaring vocals, and a cast full of colorful characters, Curtains is a joyful celebration of theater itself.
“We are thrilled to bring this ode to musical theater to our stage,” said Mrs. LaMonaca. “Our students have embraced the humor, heart, and challenge of this production, and audiences can expect an evening full of energy, charm, and surprises.”
