Development Lease Approved For Long-Vacant Site In West Haven
The City Council has approved a lease agreement for the redevelopment of the former Savin Rock Conference Center site in West Haven.
WEST HAVEN, CT — The City Council this week unanimously approved a 20-year lease agreement to redevelop the former Savin Rock Conference Center into a new restaurant and banquet facility with rooftop dining, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports developers of The Kesley at Savin Rock project plan to use the existing footprint of the conference center and give it a facelift.
The Kelsey at Savin Rock replaces previously stalled plans for New England Brewing Company to move into the location after years of legal cases and appeals from neighboring restaurant Jimmies of Savin Rock and The Land Trust of West Haven.
