Free COVID-19 Home Test Kits To Be Distributed In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven departments of Health and Emergency Management will distribute free COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 — or while supplies last — in the parking lot of the Savin Rock Conference Center at 6 Rock St., Mayor Nancy R. Rossi announced.

The test kits are available to West Haven residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of residence, such as a driver’s license, is required.

Each vehicle will receive four test kits.

Connecticut health officials announced Monday plans to distribute three million COVID-19 at-home rapid tests and six million N95 masks in the state in an effort to help curb the spread of COVID-19 during the heavy travel and holiday season.
