Kevin E. Houlberg obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Kevin E. Houlberg 67 of West Haven passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer at Yale New Haven Hospital on November 16, 2025. He was born September 24, 1958 to Gordon V. Houlberg and Gladys R. Houlberg in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Kevin is survived by his two brothers, Gordon V. “Mickey” Houlberg II of West Haven CT and Seron R. Houlberg (Debbie) of New Mexico along with a niece and many friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert A. Houlberg and Neilson V. Houlberg.

Kevin was a retired employee of Amtrak with over 33 years of service. He lived a good life, enjoying his time with his family and many friends. He loved going to the Big E annually, an event he never missed.

A private service will held for Kevin, as he will be laid to rest at Cementerio Buxeda in Carolina, Puerto Rico. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven CT.
