The West Haven Animal Shelter is asking for help with finding the owner of a lost dog that ran onto the highway before being caught.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Animal Shelter is asking for help with finding the owner of a lost dog that ran onto the highway on Friday morning, according to officials.
“This cute boy started his morning off roaming on Sawmill Rd that ended with him running up the on ramp and down the highway where he was finally caught,” the animal shelter wrote in a post on Facebook. “No collar tags or microchip. If anyone has any information on him, please contact the West Haven Animal Shelter 203-937-3642 any day because 8am and 3pm please leave all voicemails in the general voicemail box.”
