‘Massage Gun’ Leads To Lockdown At West Haven High School
The high school was placed in a lockdown due to the report of a weapon, according to West Haven Mayor Dorinda Borer.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A massage gun led to a lockdown at West Haven High School on Wednesday morning, according to Mayor Dorinda Borer.
Borer said that the school went into a lockdown due to the report of a weapon, and the SWAT team responded immediately.
“The student was detained,” Borer wrote in a post on Facebook. “It was not a real gun. It was a massage gun misidentified as a weapon by a student. There was no shooting. Everyone thankfully is fine. Lockdown will be lifted.”
