New Grocery Store Proposed For Former Rite Aid Building In West Haven: Report
The former Rite Aid building in West Haven was recently sold, according to a report.
WEST HAVEN, CT — The new owner of the former Rite Aid building in West Haven is looking to renovate the space into a CTown Supermarket, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports the building at 70 Elm Street was sold for $1.53 million in April.
While no plans have been filled with the city, officials told the Register there have been discussions about a CTown grocery store being developed at the site.

CTown was established in 1975 and has more than 140 locations, primarily throughout the Metro-New York City area, according to its website.
“With our roots planted in NYC, CTown supermarkets bring your favorite products to your neighborhood,” a post on the website reads. “Our commitment and involvement to our local communities remains the cornerstone of the CTown name.”
