Frii Branding LLC Hosts the Inaugural New Haven Picture Day – A Countywide Celebration of Smiles and Professional Branding

West Haven, Connecticut, May 20, 2025 – Frii Branding LLC is proud to announce the 1st Annual New Haven Picture Day, a FREE community event designed to provide all New Haven County residents with a professional headshot to help elevate their personal or professional brands. This event will take place on July 26th, 2025, from 6 AM to 8 PM, at their West Haven studio, and is open to any resident of more than a dozen towns that make up the entire New Haven County. Registration for the event will begin on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 6 AM EST at www.NewHavenPictureDay.com/smile.

Christopher Elliott, founder of Frii Branding LLC, was compelled to host this event after witnessing the challenges faced by many local professionals and organizations. “As a brand and digital marketing expert, I’ve seen how federal grants being cut by the current presidential administration have negatively impacted many organizations, particularly in the arts,” said Elliott. “For example, Long Wharf Theatre, a beloved local arts organization, recently cited losing over $170,000 in grant funding, having a devastating impact on their work. I thought of how a brand and digital marketing expert like me could affect a positive change, being the change I want to see while supporting my fellow network and alleviating the frustration of waiting for someone else to do something to lift our community member’s spirits.”

In addition to supporting local professionals, Elliott also wanted to create a social experiment that would go beyond traditional photography. “I wanted to capture more than just faces on camera. This event is about providing insight into what makes us smile, what matters most to us, and how we are both unique and similar in our shared human experiences,” he said. A photography documentary is planned to follow the event, showcasing participants’ smiles and personal stories.

The event will feature the work of three incredibly talented and generous local photographers who will be responsible for capturing the stunning headshots throughout the day:

Eddie Daniels of Pure White Lens Photography, TeQoa Griffith of BlaqPearl Photography, and Jonathan Bailey of Elm City Images. Together, they will bring their expertise and community spirit to ensure every participant receives a FREE high-quality, professional headshot.
